Brock Hiltner scored touchdowns three different ways on Friday as his Neelin Spartans earned a 57-0 Winnipeg High School Football League Kas Vidruk (AA) Division victory over the visiting Miles Macdonell Buckeyes on Friday.
Hiltner had a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown and returned a punt 60 yards to the house for Neelin (1-1). He finished the game with 106 yards on four carries. Dustyn Lamont added four carries for 97 yards and a touchdown, while Nate Unger had a 37-yard run for a score. Neelin’s Nick Ukleja added a five-yard touchdown run.
Quinton Hunter added two pick-sixes on defence, with Hiltner and Unger notching five tackles and a sack apiece.
Meanwhile in Winnipeg, the Vincent Massey Vikings fell behind early and couldn’t come back as they lost 31-0 to the Kelvin Clippers (2-0) in John Potter (AAA) Division play.
Matt Bryant rushed nine times for 42 yards, while Kirk Dechka had 16 yards on five carries for Vincent Massey (0-2). Ty Kuz had eight tackles, while Connor Mills added six and Rory Ponto had four for the visiting Vikings.
