Brock Hiltner opened up the Brandon Sun Spartan Invitational with a double-double as the host Neelin Spartans topped the Glenboro Panthers 67-38 in the Tri-Star (Tier 2) Division on Thursday afternoon.

Hiltner finished the game with 20 points and 11 rebounds for the defending division champion Spartans, while Andrew Paul added 12 points.

Matt Klassen paced the Panthers with 16 points, while Riley Nicholson chipped in with 10.

Massey-Bdn 79 Killarney 46

Seth Friesen put up 16 points to lead the Vikings in their opener. Logan Beazley had 14 points for the Raiders.

SJR 115 Crocus Plains 25

Avery Cadogan had 29 points for the Golden Eagles. Michael Olive led the Plainsmen with nine.

Stonewall 68 Minnedosa 41

The Rams were led by a 24-point effort by Eric Dupras. The Chancellors got 19 points from Justin McKinnon.

Hapnot 59 Nelson Mac 39

Blake Wallaker led the Kopper Kings with 17 points. Merveille Madianga paced the Wolverines with 16.

S. Valley 58 Beaver Brae 45

Eric Klein paced the Tigers with 21 points. Brendon Loranger and Russell Guinto both had eight for the Broncos.

RD Parker 80 Goose Lake 43

Isaiah Muchikekwanape had 27 points for the Trojans. Shane Allarie replied with 16 for the Raiders.

Lloydminster 76 Sanford 66

Kelvin 87 Miles Mac 52

Ivan Paskvalin scored 15 points and Liam Haime added 14 for the Clippers. Filip Djukic had 18 for the Buckeyes.

Jacob Penner paced the defending champion Fighting Gophers with 21 points, while Skylar Cooper had six for the Tigers.

O. Park 99 Ft. Richmond 56

William Sesay led the Raiders with 20 points. Mbawemi Ntungo replied with 21 for the Centurions.

Kild. East 78 Glenlawn 71

Dharmjit Dhillion’s 32 points helped the Reivers earn the win. Ian Schaefer scored 23 points for the Lions.

Massey-Wpg 79 JH Bruns 73

Carter Malegus put up 20 points to lead the Trojans. Brendan Proulx paced the Broncos with 16.

Dakota 74 Maples 36

Hayden Nellis’s 12 points led the Lancers. Aaron Balangit, Norvy Pedracio and Bikram Gill all had seven for the Marauders.

Daniel Mac 95 Selkirk 66

Odun Ogidan netted 25 points to pace the Maroons. Tanner Sinclair replied with 17 for the Royals.

MBCI 99 Garden Valley 32

The Hawks were led by Derek McKnight, who put up 20 points for the victors. Alex Giesbrecht managed nine for the Zodiacs.
