Five former Brandon Wheat Kings have agreed to participate in the Westman Magic’s Alumni Celebrity Classic on Sunday at Steve Clark Field.

Kelly Glowa, Mark Derlago, Matt Calvert, Tyler Plante and Scott Hlady will be some of the local celebrities playing in the game along with Edmonton Oilers prospect Alex Plante and Bruce Luebke, the voice of the Wheat Kings. Other participants include city councillor Murray Blight, Grant McKay from the Brandon Police Service, Brandon’s fire chief Brent Dane as well as Brett Turner, the chair of the Ashley Neufeld Softball Complex. Dennis Kyle and Jeff Neufeld, relatives of Ashley Neufeld, will also be there.

All proceeds from the game, which starts at 1 p.m., will go to the Ashley Neufeld Softball Complex.

Admission is free.
