Hope prevails: Schneider player of the week

Brandonite Hope Schneider has earned the nod as the Winnipeg Wesmen female athlete of the week.

The first-year setter, a graduate of the Crocus Plainsmen high school volleyball team, averaged 30 assists per match for the Wesmen women’s volleyball team during the recent Lea Marc Volleyball Challenge at the U of W last week. Schneider also added eight service aces and 20 digs while playing in five matches over three days for the Wesmen, who finished in second place.
