Late Wednesday, Jake Cullen and Layton Dornn each had one goal and two assists to lift the Plainsmen to a 5-3 win over the host Virden Golden Bears for a 2-0 sweep in their provincial AAAA qualifier.

Crocus will face the winner of the Dauphin-Vincent Massey series in the final.

Meanwhile, the host Neepawa Tigers doubled up on the Major Pratt Trojans 6-3 on Wednesday night to open their best-of-three provincial AA qualifier.
