Mark Kerkowich sank a five-foot putt on the 18th hole to win the annual Rosebowl men’s match play tournament on Monday at the Neepawa Golf and Country Club.

Kerkowich, a member of the Clear Lake Golf Course, edged Scott Davie of the host Neepawa club to take this year’s title.

Kerkowich came to the 16th hole three up with three holes to play, but Davie battled back to take the 16th and 17th to send the match to the 18th hole where Kerkowich sealed the deal.

Chad Facey finished third in the championship flight, while Kris Jacobsen was fourth. Mike Evenson won the first flight, with 12 flights in all.
