Families in need of financial support to allow their children to play organized sports can now apply to the Westman Regional KidSport Committee for help.
Children up to the age of 18 are eligible to receive up to $300 per year towards registration fees for an organized sport.
Applications will be accepted until Oct. 25 for sport participation prior to Jan. 1. Applications are available at the Sport Manitoba-Westman Region office in Room 146, 340 9th Street or online at kidsportcanada.ca.
Equipment and financial donations are also accepted year-round, with tax receipts available.
