Dylan Butler had a hat trick and Tanner Butler of Souris set up four goals to lead the Dauphin Kings to a 10-1 thrashing of the visiting Neepawa Natives in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League on Thursday night.
Dalton Siwak and Jared Morris scored twice, while Brandonite Brayden Cuthbert, Justin Valentino and Chandler Irvin added singles, and Killarney’s Jesse Bernard had three assists as the Kings
(20-12-1) won their sixth straight game. Killarney’s Brian Archibald stopped 25 of 26 shots to earn the win, while Virden’s Cameron Whyte and Brandonite Mitch VanTeeling notched assists. Luke Karakas scored the lone goal, with Brandonite Clayton Heinrichs drawing an assist, for the Natives (9-24-4), who have lost six in a row.
