Brandonite Mitch Van Teeling had an assist and was named the game’s first star as the Dauphin Kings stretched their winning streak to 16 games with a 4-2 victory over the Swan Valley Stampeders Friday in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
In last night’s other MJHL games, it was: Virden Oil Capitals 2, OCN Blizzard 1 in a shootout; Winnipeg Blues 10, Neepawa Natives 0; and Winkler Flyers 3, Selkirk Steelers 2.
At Dauphin, Daulton Siwak scored twice for the Kings (43-11-2).

Oil Capitals 2 Blizzard 1 (SO)
At The Pas, Kyler Beckett made 38 saves to get the Oil Capitals (18-30-8) through overtime, then denied both shots he faced the shootout. Michael Gorrie scored the tying goal in the third period, then struck again in the shootout as Virden kept its slim playoff hopes alive.
Tyler Grove scored, while Justin McDonald made 34 saves for the Blizzard (36-16-5).
Blues 10 Natives 0
At Winnipeg, Jake Heisinger and Daniel Fainmen each had a goal and three assists for the Blues (42-13-1). Warren Callis and Scott Rowswell both scored twice for Winnipeg. The Natives fell to 13-36-6.
