Quarterback Matthew Kish tossed two touchdown passes and ran for two more to lead the Dauphin Clippers to a 33-21 victory over the Swan Valley Tigers in Rural Manitoba Football League action Friday.
In other Friday action in the nine-man high school league, it was: Neepawa Tigers 30, East Parkland Outlaws 16; Moosomin Generals 47, Virden Golden Bears 0.
In Dauphin, Kish completed six of 17 passes for 240 yards and two TDs and also carried the ball four times for 57 yards, including TD runs of six and 30 yards.
Dauphin’s Chase MacDonald caught three passes for 149 yards, including TD catches of 67 and 68 yards and also ran 18 yards for a score, while Jacob Thacker rushed seven times for 75 yards.
Brett Mosionier made 12 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble to lead the Dauphin defence.
Tigers 20 Outlaws 16
In Neepawa, quarterback Brenden Cowan completed three of nine passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed 10 times for 96 yards with an eight-yard TD run.
Jason Caines caught two TD passes for 18 and 38 yards, while Lynden Middleton rushed 10 times for 115 yards.
Joel Asselstine made eight tackles to lead the Tiger defence.
Generals 47 Golden Bears 0
In Virden, Drayson Hellyer led the Golden Bears offence, carrying the ball five times for 21 yards.
