Tabi Love was named the player of the match in her hometown as Canada’s national women’s volleyball team swept Peru in Dauphin on Wednesday night.
Love, 25, led 22nd-ranked Canada to a 25-15, 25-21, 25-16 victory over Peru, which is ranked 17th in the world.
The Canadian team, which also includes 21-year-old Lisa Barclay of Brandon, has taken the first two meetings of a three-match exhibition series between the teams.
They wrap up the series back in Winnipeg at the University of Manitoba’s Investors Group Athletic Centre on Friday at 7 p.m.
