Crocus Plainsmen forward Layton Dornn goes five-hole to score his team’s first goal on Vincent Massey Vikings netminder Blaine Cooper in Westman High School Hockey League action on Tuesday night at the Optimist Arena.
Taylor Maloney fired a pair of goals to lead the Crocus Plainsmen to a 4-3 victory over the Vincent Massey Vikings in an all-Brandon battle in the Westman High School Hockey League on Tuesday night at the Optimist Arena.
Layton Dornn had a goal and an assist, while Jake Cullen scored the other goal for Crocus Plains. (5-1-1).
Luke Galatiuk chipped in with a pair of assists for the Plainsmen.
Landon Wilson and Bradley Schoonbaert each had a goal and an assist for Vincent Massey (4-2-0), while Ricky Nicholson scored once.
On Monday night, it was: Neepawa Tigers 11, Souris/Reston Sabres 3.

In Neepawa, Riley Kolesar scored three goals and set up three others to lead the way for the host Tigers.
Neepawa also received a pair of goals from Wyatt Salmon and singles from Blair Krutkewich, Matthew Sneesby, Kyle McDonald, Jeremy Hodgins and Trent Nelson.
Matt Williams replied with a pair of goals for Souris/Reston, while Kelvin Wright scored once.
