Manitoba finished the Baseball Canada junior championship with a 1-3 record, losing their final game 10-2 to Nova Scotia on Sunday at Dartmouth, N.S.
Torey Scott of Carberry hit a run-scoring double for Manitoba. Bryan Evans of Somerset finished the game on the mound, retiring the only batter he faced.
On Saturday, Manitoba fell 9-3 to New Brunswick and 8-0 to British Columbia.
Scott went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in the game against New Brunswick, while Connor Drewry of Cartwright went 1-for-1 with two RBIs.
Bryce Enns of Cartwright went 1-for-2. Evans pitched five innings for the loss, allowing five runs — four earned — in five innings.
In the game against British Columbia, Drewry was 1-for-2, while Enns went 0-for-2 but drew a walk. Daylon Creasy of Carberry gave up three unearned runs in 2 2/3 innings of relief.
