The Vincent Massey Vikings split their first two matches at a varsity girls high school volleyball tournament at the University of Saskatchewan on Friday.
Massey opened the event by beating the Riffel Royals from Regina 2-0 (25-19, 25-16) before falling to Wakaw (Sask.) Warriors 2-0 (26-24, 26-24).
Meanwhile, the Crocus Plainsmen split their two matches at a tournament in Selkirk. Crocus fell 2-0 (25-19, 25-16) to the hosts before beating Sturgeon Heights 2-0 (25-7, 25-22).
