Massey splits on road

The Vincent Massey Vikings split their Westman High School Rugby games in Dauphin on Wednesday.

In the girls’ game, Ashley Addison and Odelle Fiola-Johnson scored tries for the host Clippers in a 10-5 win over the Vikings. Katie Hersley touched the ball down for Massey.

In the boys’ game, Eugene Lwanga scored a pair of tries, while Bryce Colquhoun, Matt Bryant and Steven Gresl added singles as the Vikings shut out the Clippers 27-0. Joe Schmidt supplied the conversion.

In Wednesday’s other girls’ game, it was: Minnedosa Chancellors 32, Swan Valley Tigers 10. In the boys’ game, it was: Chancellors 29, Tigers 5.

At Swan River, Kaitlyn Burgess scored three tries, Robin Bell had a pair and Diana Dawson one for Minnedosa, while Abby Rowan kicked a convert. Brooke Mosiondz and Lane Mychalchuk scored tries for Swan Valley.

Chancellors 29 Tigers 5

At Swan River, Ryan Black, Logan Patterson, Blake Marchischuk and Nick Cameron scored tries for Minnedosa, while Justin McKinnon kicked three conversions and a penalty. Logan Johansen scored the try for Swan Valley.
