North Central Hockey League scoring champion Kyle McLeod has also been named the league’s most valuable player.
The Miniota/Elkhorn forward fired 29 goals and added 24 assists for 53 points in 19 games this season to help the C-Hawks finish in first place with a 17-1-0-2 record.
Miniota/Elkhorn teammate Sean McKean was named the league’s most sportsmanlike player after compiling 23 points, while taking only three minor penalties.
The league’s goaltending award went to the Grandview Comets trio of Tim Williams, Danny McDonald and Adrian Rubeniuk, who combined for a 2.30 goals-against average, surrendering only 46 goals in 20 games.
