After spending the last month trying to recover from the flood that hit the region, the Melita Golf Course is finally reopening its doors today.
Crews worked hard to repair the course, which turned into a huge lake and had bridges washed away from heavy rainfall during the Canada Day weekend, to get eight holes ready. The par-3 seventh will remain closed as crews have to reseed the entire hole after removing a lot of silt from it.
One round costs $15 or people can play all day for $25.
