Minnedosa’s Shaq Merasty is an NCAA Division III hockey all-American.
The former Portage Terriers forward, in his first year with the Adrian College Bulldogs, was named to the all-star team after posting 22 goals and 16 assists in 28 games this season. He finished second in the country in goals scored and 10th in points.
The Bulldogs compiled a 17-0-3 conference record and won the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association title before falling 3-2 to the Oswego State Lakers in the national quarter-finals.
