Brandon’s quest for a provincial Midget AAA baseball title came to an end in the quarter-finals.
Brandon fell 2-1 to St. James in that round after topping their preliminary-round pool with a 2-1 record. The other two Westman teams — Midwest and Oil Dome — both missed the playoffs.
St. James lost the provincial final 8-0 to Winnipeg South.
