Russell’s Jon Montgomery finished seventh at the men’s world skeleton championship on Saturday in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
Montgomery, the 2010 Olympic gold medallist, finished with a four-run combined time of four minutes 35.47 seconds.
Eric Neilson was the top Canadian with a time of 4:35.01 and a fourth-place finish. Russia’s Alexander Tretiakov won the event with a time of 4:32:35.
Montgomery and Brandon’s Cassie Hawrysh now head to Sochi, Russia for the final stop on the World Cup tour.
