The Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Neepawa Natives traded the rights to 20-year-old netminder Jared Knott to the Steinbach Pistons for future considerations on Tuesday.

Knott stopped all 17 shots he faced in his lone pre-season appearance on Sunday versus the Dauphin Kings. The Port Coquitlam, B.C., native posted a 5.45 goals-against average and an .868 save percentage in 16 games last season.
