Natives trade McQueen

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Neepawa Natives have sent 18-year-old forward Ryan McQueen to the Fort Frances (Ont.) Lakers of the Superior International Junior Hockey League for future considerations.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound rookie left-winger from Thunder Bay, Ont., scored three goals in 13 Manitoba Junior Hockey games for the Natives, who acquired his rights from the Virden Oil Capitals back on Nov. 8. McQueen was pointless in three games for Virden.
