Olive lifts Rangers

Michael Olive scored the second-half game winner to give the U14 Westman FC Rangers a 3-2 victory over the U15 Westman FC Royals in Winnipeg Youth Soccer League boys playoff action on Monday at Green Acres School.

Josh Petersen and Callum Cowie also scored for the Rangers, while Alex Alvarado replied with a pair of goals for the Royals, including one on a penalty kick. The Royals also came close in the final minutes, hitting both the crossbar and the post in the first game of the round-robin playoffs.
