The Crocus Plainsmen and Major Pratt Trojans are going to Game 3 in their best-of-three Westman High School Hockey League semifinal.
Austin Dobrescu scored twice as the Plainsmen doubled the Trojans 6-3 Tuesday at Optimist Arena to tie the series 1-1. Norman Brightnose had a goal and an assist, while Luke Galatiuk, Lee Gorowski and Calvin Van Santen had the other Crocus goals.
Brayden Cullum scored one goal and set up another, while Bret Nahirniak and Jordan Furman also scored for the Trojans, who will host Game 3 at a date yet to be determined.
On Monday night, the Neepawa Tigers advanced to the semifinals with a 3-1 win over the Minnedosa Chancellors in the deciding game of their best-of-three quarter-final.
Garett Rempel scored a pair of goals and assisted on Kyle McDonald’s marker for the Tigers. Wyatt Rapsky replied for the Chancellors.
Neepawa will face Dauphin in the semifinals.
