The Crocus Plainsmen earned their spot in the provincial AAA/AAAA high school hockey championship Sunday night.
The Plainsmen, who are currently competing in the Westman High School Hockey League’s B-side final, defeated the host Portage Trojans 5-3 in an interzone playoff game on Sunday to advance to provincials, which begin Friday in Winnipeg.
Tanner Fluker, Calvin Van Santen, Callum McDonald, Ryan Baker and Layton Dornn scored the goals for Crocus Plains.
