The Crocus Plainsmen are city champions.
The Plainsmen beat the host Vincent Massey Vikings 77-68 in the third and deciding game of the Brandon High School Basketball League’s junior varsity boys final on Wednesday night.
Eric Schepp had 26 points, while Joseph Hoyes added 16 points to lead Crocus Plains.
Cassidy Obijiaku replied with 26 points, while Luke Giesbrecht added 11 points for Massey.
Crocus Plains now travels to Swan River for an interzone game today, with the winner advancing to the JV provincials in Winkler from March 7-9.
