Carson Ransom and Hunter Goodon both scored twice to lift the Brandon Wheat Kings to a 6-2 victory over the Southwest Cougars in a Winnipeg AAA Bantam Hockey League Division 1 game Wednesday in Wawanesa.
Brendan Kokorudz and Connor Gutenberg also scored for Brandon, which tallied three times on the power play.
Braden Billaney and Mitch Dillabough had a goal and an assist apiece for the Cougars.
Josh Petersen made 27 saves for Brandon, while Southwest goalies Rylan Rommelaere and Dane Fortin combined to make 23 stops.
