Rempel leads Tigers

Garett Rempel scored four times and set up another goal for the Neepawa Tigers as they defeated the host Melita/Waskada Devils 5-3 in the Westman High School Hockey League on Sunday.

Wyatt Salmon netted the other goal for the Tigers (11-4-0) and assisted on three others. Brad Dalziel and Nick Fletcher replied for the Devils (8-4-0).

Elsewhere on Sunday, it was: Boissevain Broncos 9, Hamiota Huskies 5.

On Saturday, it was Deloraine/Hartney Colts 2, Major Pratt Trojans 1; Dauphin Clippers 6, Virden Golden Bears 1; and Killarney/Wawanesa Raiders 2, Souris/Reston Sabres 1 (SO).

Broncos 9 Huskies 5

At Boissevain, Skylar Canada recorded a hat trick and assisted on the the other six goals for the Broncos (6-5-2), while Jordan Foote added three goals and five assists. John Shurvell replied with a pair of markers for the Huskies (4-9-2).

Colts 2 Trojans 1

At Russell, Lucas Hainsworth scored both goals for the league-leading Colts (12-1-0), notching the winner in the third period. Landyn Cochrane scored for the Trojans (9-3-0).

Clippers 6 Golden Bears 1

At Dauphin, the Clippers improved to 10-1-1, while the Bears slipped to 5-6-0.

Raiders 2 Sabres 1 (SO)

At Wawanesa, the Raiders improve to 3-10-1, with the Sabres falling to 2-8-2.
