Robertson earns senior provincial berth

Neepawa’s Kelly Robertson will have a chance to win his third straight provincial senior men’s curling championship.

The Robertson foursome — which includes Souris’ Doug Armour, Dauphin’s Peter Prokopowich and Winnipeg’s Bob Scales — won a spot at provincials by beating Brandon’s Brian Fowler 6-5 in an extra end at a berth bonspiel final at Morden on Sunday. Both Robertson and Fowler were undefeated heading into the game.

The provincial senior men’s curling championship will be held at Killarney from Feb. 21-25.
