Russell Major Pratt Trojans coach Cheri Totte has been named Manitoba High Schools Athletic Conference Subway rural coach of the month for October.

Totte has coached and supervised the varsity girls program at Major Pratt, which is currently ranked No.1 in the province in the AA division, and also serves as the setter coach for boys and girls volleyball at the school.

A Major Pratt graduate herself, Totte works full-time as a chiropractor while coaching the Trojans teams on her own time. Major Pratt has won both the Rivers Rams Tournament and University of Regina Autumn Classic this season and will compete in provincials later this month.
