Kaylee Butterfield scored three tries to spark the Souris Sabres to a 60-0 triumph over the host Vincent Massey Vikings in varsity girls’ action in the Westman High School Rugby League on Tuesday.

In boys’ action, it was: Souris 22, Vincent Massey 5; and Swan Valley Tigers 53, Elton Sabres 0.

At Massey, Charlotte West had two tries and two converts, while Kendra Roberts also scored twice for the Sabres. Alix Sabeski, Kristen Kirkpatrick and Jessie Robins also had tries, while Shannon Brady booted three converts for the Sabres.

Souris 22 Vincent Massey 5

Brendan Roberts, Michael Fortin, Tyson McRae and Zach Harvey scored the tries and Adam Kowalchuk booted a convert to lead Souris. Austin Moar replied with the lone try for Vincent Massey.

Swan Valley 53 Elton 0

In Swan River, Baile Oakes scored two tries and kicked three converts to spark the Tigers past the expansion Sabres. Kyle Johansen scored three tries, Robin Seib added two, while Logan Johansen and Nick LeClaire each scored once for the hosts, with Nick Genaille notching a convert.
