Scott wins AUS award

Souris native Rick Scott was named the Atlantic University Sport conference’s women’s volleyball coach of the year.

Scott, in his fifth year with the third-ranked Dalhousie Tigers, guided the team to first place in the AUS with a 16-2 record. Scott will be one of the four finalists for the CIS coach of the year award, which will be announced at the national championship in Sherbrooke, Que., from Feb. 28 to March 2.
