Jordan Seafoot was nearly unhittable as the Souris Cardinals blanked the Reston Jays 2-0 on Friday in the South West Baseball League.
Seafoot threw a one-hitter, walking seven in the seven-inning game but striking out 15. He also went 1-for-2 at the plate with two RBIs.
In another SWBL game on Friday, the Boissevain Centennials edged the Elkhorn Expos 3-2.
At Souris, Tyson Roblin worked all six innings on the mound for the Jays, scattering five hits and three walks, with two strikeouts.

At Boissevain, Junior Brake pitched a five-hitter for the Centennials, walking two batters and striking out five. Brake and Jay Graham both went 2-for-2, with Graham’s hits both being doubles.
Shawn and Bradley Bowles shared the pitching duties for the Expos, each working three-plus innings. Jason Bowles led Elkhorn at the dish, going 2-for-3.
