Jesse Sinatynski scored two goals and set up two others as the Dauphin Kings blasted the Swan Valley Stampeders 11-2 Tuesday to run their Manitoba Junior Hockey League winning streak to 18 games.
Sinatynski’s big night gave him 91 points (41 goals, 50 assists) this season as he retook the league scoring lead from teammate Jon Gaudet, who scored once to up his total to 89 points (37 goals, 52 assists).
In Tuesday’s other games, it was: Waywayseecappo Wolverines 3, Virden Oil Capitals 1; and Winkler Flyers 5, Portage Terriers 2.
At Dauphin, Daulton Siwak and Guillaume Naud each had two goals and an assist for the Kings (45-11-2), while Tanner Butler of Souris had a goal and a helper. Justin Valentino and Max Flanagan replied for the Stampeders (30-23-4).
Wolverines 3 Oil Capitals 1
At Waywayseecappo, Pilot Mound’s Brett Pinkerton scored two as the Wolverines (25-25-5) won their sixth straight game. Brenden Luchinski and Russell Turner also scored for Wayway. Cory Haverstick replied for the Oil Capitals (18-32-8).
Flyers 5 Terriers 2
At Winkler, Justin Faux scored two goals and added an assist for the Flyers (19-27-11). T.J. Fairall had a goal and two assists, while Cartwright’s Jory Mullin and Tristan Keck also scored for Winkler. Dylan Butler had both goals for the Terriers (31-25-1).
