The Brandon Sport Alliance’s next Coaching Academy session is scheduled for Jan. 15 and will focus on how to coach with a tablet device.
A.J. Marcelino will lead the discussion, which will highlight how tablets can help with coaching and which apps are worthwhile purchasing.
The coaching session is scheduled to be held in Room 22 at Neelin High School from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening is open to coaches, parents, volunteers, team management personnel and athletes.
Interested persons can register for the event by calling 204-726-6072, by emailing info@brandonsportalliance.ca or by logging on to www.brandonsportalliance.ca.
The Sport Alliance will hold five more coaching sessions this season, including one on basic taping techniques for common injuries. That session is scheduled for Feb. 5.
