• 30 YEARS AGO — Perfect goaltending from Mike Corrigan sparked Jacket World to a 5-0 Brandon Senior Soccer League victory over Victoria Inn 100. Graham Avon, Ron Weir, Doug Nixon, Bill Clark and Art Heide scored the goals.

• 20 YEARS AGO — Trevor Robins stopped 43 shots in an acrobatic regular-season debut to backstop the Brandon Wheat Kings to a 9-6 victory over the Regina Pats in WHL action at the Keystone Centre.
