• 30 YEARS AGO — Gert Speakman scored a hole-in-one on the 161-yard third hole at the Brandon Rec Centre golf course.
• 20 YEARS AGO — Jamie Waddell-Hodgson’s run-scoring double in the sixth inning lifted the Brandon Cloverleafs to a 2-1 win over the Virden Oilers in the MSBL.
