Former Brandon Wheat Kings forward Scott Glennie re-signed with a Dallas Stars on Thursday.
The 23-year-old signed a one-year, two-way contract, although the financial details were not disclosed. Glennie, a 6-foot-1, 195-pounder, was the Stars’ first-round pick in the 2009 NHL draft.
He played in one NHL game in 2012 and spent the past three years in the American Hockey League with the Texas Stars. He posted a career-high 15 goals and 28 points last season and six goals and 10 points in 20 playoff games, helping the Stars win the Calder Cup AHL championship.
