The Virden Oil Capitals scored two third-period goals to force overtime before falling 4-3 to the Selkirk Steelers in a shootout on Thursday night in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
Justin Derlago scored twice for the Steelers (8-7-2), while Matt Glowa added a single. Riley Derlago had the lone goal of the shootout.
