Brandon Sun - PRINT EDITION
The Brandon-based Storm 17-and-under girls club volleyball team captured the Vision Elite club tournament title in Winnipeg on the weekend.
The Storm won the final 2-1 (25-23, 22-25, 15-11) over the Westman 18-and-under team.
The Storm cruised through round-robin play with an undefeated record, beating the Bison 18U squad in the quarter-final before knocking off the Mavericks 18-and-under team in the semifinal.
The Storm’s next tournament is in Brandon when they will host the top club volleyball teams in the province on March 16 and 17.
