Kajon McKay scored in regulation time and in the shootout to lift the Portage Terriers to a 3-2 victory over the host Virden Oil Capitals Thursday night in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
Donovan Cousineau also scored for the Terriers (7-4-1) and Dauphin’s Justin Slobozian added an assist. Ben Johnstone and Lyrik Friesen replied for Virden (6-4-3), which got a 44-save performance from Ty Edmonds.
