Top curlers coming to Westman

Reid Carruthers — the second for Jeff Stoughton — and Kaitlyn Lawes — the third on the Jennifer Jones team — are coming to six Westman communities to teach curling clinics to school-aged, junior-aged and adult curlers this winter.

As part of CurlManitoba’s Road Show program, the pair will be making stops in Hamiota on Oct. 29, Minnedosa on Oct. 30, Souris on Nov. 10, Swan Lake on Dec. 18, Carberry on Dec. 20 and Dauphin on Jan. 15.

Clinics for each age group will run through the day with a meet-and-greet with Lawes and Carruthers following the adult session.

Contact the local host club for more information or to register for one of the sessions.
