Trojans shut out JV Vikings

Winnipeg’s Vincent Massey Trojans were too much for the Vincent Massey Vikings to handle on Wednesday, blanking the visiting Brandon team 41-0 in a Winnipeg High School Football League junior varsity game.

Quarterback Thomas Moroz of the Vikings completed 7-of-15 passes for 101 yards for the Vikings. Ronnie Martin had six tackles for the Vikings, while Thayne Georges had two tackles, an interception and forced a fumble.

Brandon’s Crocus Plainsmen were also in Winnipeg, falling 65-0 to the Kelvin Clippers in another JV contest. Statistics were unavailable.
