Tuttosi to suit up for national team

Emily Tuttosi of Souris will step into the national spotlight today with Canada’s under-20 women’s rugby team.

The 18-year-old member of the University of Calgary Dinos squad and graduate of the Souris Sabres of the Westman High School Rugby League, will suit up for Canada in a two-game exhibition series versus the United States U-20 squad in Ontario. The opening match is set for this evening in London, Ont., with the second match slated for Saturday night in Sarnia, Ont. Tuttosi, a Canada West all-star in her rookie season in the CIS, joins a Canadian squad that went undefeated in 2013 and won the U20 Nations Cup tournament.
