Van Teeling, Naud lead Kings

Brandonite Mitch Van Teeling and Guillaume Naud each had a goal and two assists to lead the Dauphin Kings to a 7-4 victory over the host Waywayseecappo Wolverines Tuesday in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

Ryley Miller, Jesse Sinatynski and Jeff Archibald each had a goal and an assist, while Tommy Hrazdira also scored as the Kings (32-11-2) grabbed a share of first place in the Sher-Wood Division and the overall standings. Souris native Tanner Butler had three assists. Brian Archibald of Killarney made 30 saves for the win.

Zaine Walker scored a goal and set up another for the Wolverines (18-24-4), while Brett Pinkerton of Pilot Mound, Brenden Luchinski and Brett Lafond also scored.

In other action it was: Neepawa Natives 5, Selkirk Steelers 4.

At Selkirk, T.J. Sneath scored the winner with 16 seconds left to play, finishing with two goals and an assist. Landon Thompson of MacGregor, Derrick Brooks and Dylan MacNab also scored for the Natives (12-29-5), while Neepawa product Clarke Rempel had three assists and Bruce Corrigal made 44 saves.

Joel Messner had a goal and an assist for Selkirk (24-19-5).
