The Vikings will hit the road Wednesday to meet the Parkland representative in an interzone game.

Foote also picked up the win on the mound after holding Crocus to one run on one hit while striking out five in five innings. Tanner Bates gave up 10 runs on eight hits and struck out three in six innings to take the loss for the Plainsmen.

Meanwhile in Dauphin, Miguel Letain pitched a complete game and held the Neepawa Tigers to two hits and struck out 13 as the Clippers earned a 7-0 victory.

Blair Krutkewich took the loss for Neepawa.

GIRLS’ SOCCER:

At Massey, Danielle Wallace and Erynn Buhr gave the Crocus Plainsmen a 2-1 advantage over the Neelin Spartans, but the Spartans battled back to salvage a 2-2 draw in their Brandon High School Soccer League girls’ contest.
