Vikings to host high school football clinic

The Vincent Massey Vikings will be holding a workshop for prospective high school football players next month.

The presentation, entitled “What does it take to be a high school football player?” will be held on March 3 at Vincent Massey high school. The sessions will feature a players workshop from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., covering speed, agility and strength training as well as balancing football with academics. The workshop for parents runs from 12:30 to 2:15 p.m., covering Football 101 basics and an outline of what the Vikings program offers.

Entry fee is $25, with all proceeds going to KidSport. Email Mike Steeves at steeves.mike@brandonsd.mb.ca or call 204-729-3170.
