The Waywayseecappo Wolverines will be without forward Zane Walker when they open their Manitoba Junior Hockey League season this weekend.
Walker was suspended for three games on Tuesday for picking up a match penalty for slashing in pre-season action versus the SJHL’s Melville Millionaires on Monday night. Walker will miss the Wolverines’ season opener versus the Portage Terriers this Friday at the Waywayseecappo Arena, as well as the next two games.
