A forfeit gave Brandon Inspire its third win of the Manitoba Major Soccer League on Sunday.

Winnipeg Phoenix FC was scheduled to face Inspire in a men’s Division 2 game at Christian Heritage School.

However, injuries preventing the visiting team from being able to field a lineup.

On Saturday, Darcy Simard scored for Inspire in a 2-1 loss to Celtic FC at Christian Heritage.

With the split, Inspire emerged from the weekend with a 3-6 record.
