Western Canada Cup tickets going on sale

Early-bird ticket packages go on sale Monday for the 2014 Cresent Point Energy Western Canada Cup in Dauphin.

The new tournament will run from April 25 to May 4 at Dauphin’s Credit Union Place, with the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Kings serving as the host team. Also taking part will be the champions of the MJHL, SJHL, AJHL and BCHL, with the Western Canada Cup champion and runner-up will advance to the RBC Cup Canadian Junior A Championship.

The new event replaces the old Anavet Cup (MJHL-SJHL championship) and Doyle Cup (AJHL-BCHL championship) interprovincial series.

Tickets purchased starting Monday through to April 30 will be sold at 10 per cent off for a total tournament package price of $370. Packages are available online at dauphin2014.com or by calling 1-888-676-7661.
